This video was generously provided by former member Peggy Mellor (Davidson) and her husband Glen, son of corps director George Mellor.
In late 1976 and through 1977 George could be seen with his camera filming the corps as we rehearsed, performed and got up to all sorts of antics. Highlights include:
1976 - Christmas Parade
1977 - Rehearsals including what appears to be a practice-a-thon;
- Fittings for the new red and black uniforms;
- Exhibition at the Brantford Civic Centre that also includes the Belles;
- Exhibition at Glenhyrst Gardens Family Day, also including the Belles;
- Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the corps at Glenhyrst including awards of recognition for George, Tom Collard and Fred Nicholas;
- Also included is a special appearance at the 22:24 minute mark by 3 lovely ladies wearing the green and white uniforms providing some lively entertainment for the audience. If anyone can identify these ladies feel free to put it in the comments.
