ST. JOHN'S DRUM & BUGLE CORPS ALUMNI

It is with sadness, but also comfort that our mother Mary Hanselman passed away peacefully on Friday evening, Mar 24 at St. Joseph's Lifecare in Brantford, Ontario.

Mom put up a very strong fight over the past 3 years. In addition to the unfortunate circumstances of Covid and living in different homes than our father prior to his passing, she moved three times before her eventual home at St. Joseph's. We can't say enough about the wonderful care she had at St. Joseph's and thank the wonderful people who took care of her. We are also very thankful we were able to say goodbye and our mother is finally at peace and with our dad.

Mom spent her time being a "mom" and many of us will remember the amazing baked goods and things she did out of the goodness of her heart. For all our friends who marched with us in St. John's Drum Corps, she was one of the many mothers who helped be a chaperone on various trips and we are forever grateful.
