Carl was an avid supporter of the drum corps activity. Father of members Sue Monarch (Hinsley) and Evelyn "Patti" Stevenson (Hinsley), and husband to Jo, Carl enthusiastically filled the rolls of Equipment Manager, Corps Director and Assitant Corps Director for the Belles of St. John's in the late 70's and as a board member of the Corps in the 80's.
