ST. JOHN'S DRUM & BUGLE CORPS ALUMNI

Al first became involved with St. John's in 1971 volunteering as Co-Director and Business Manager until 1975. Al returned to the St. John's organization in 1979 as Corps Director and remained involved until 1982.

Al's history with drum corps began in 1966 when his two sons were members of the Optimist Cadets Drum Corps and where he volunteered his time and talents. He returned to the Optimists organization in 1975 were he was instrumental in the successful merger of Seneca Princemen with the Toronto Optimists.

Al was also involved in the Ontario Drum Corps Association and contributed many articles for various publications like Parades and Pagentry and Information Drum Corps.
